About Ductbills

About Ductbills

For eight years we've crafted hand-made duct tape wallets and sold them to friends and family. After realizing that everyone could appreciate duct tape, we formed a company called ductbills and eventually moved on to selling at stores and places like the Portland Saturday Market. We've spent thousands of hours hand-making thousands of wallets and we're still moving.

We invite you to check out more of our history at ductbills.com and our future at dbclay.com.

Saturday Market Roots

About Portland Saturday Market

We started selling our hand made creations at Portland's Saturday Market. If you don't know about this market, here's a clip from their site:
Every Saturday and Sunday from March until December the Old Town/Chinatown neighborhood transforms into a thriving arts and crafts open-air marketplace. Seeing the market's operations staff of 10 roll out the power lines and delegate booth spaces with precision each weekend for so many years, most of the neighborhood has come to think of Portland Saturday Market (PSM) as a business like any other.

About the kit

About the myDuctbills Kit

After years of fine-tuning our wallets we decided to re-invent our company and move forward as db clay. As much as we loved our ductbills we simply didn't have time to hand-make wallets to keep up with demand. Nobody wanted to let ductbills fade; therefore, we compiled this kit to tell our story and share our secrets. This kit represents many years of hard work and creativity: invented to extend the ductbills legacy.
